Cargo security for the retail supply chain means protecting trucks and trailers on the road as well as dropped trailers at warehouses and distribution centers. We offer a number of proven security devices to assist.
Prevent break-ins and pilferage of retail trailers.
Retailers experience frequent pilferage as their trailers move through the supply chain. Thieves will open the trailer and remove a few items making the theft difficult to detect quickly therefore putting time and space between the thief and the crime. While this is viewed as low risk to the thief, retailers are faced with economic loss from the stolen products, insurance claims and damaged customer relationships.
To protect against trailer theft and pilferage, we offer heavy duty ABLOY® padlocks and locking devices that incorporate an ABLOY padlock or ABLOY lock cylinder to secure trailer doors. These locks include the Adjustable Trailer Door Lock and the Hasp for swing door trailers. For roll up door trailers, we offer the Roll Up Door Lock, CargoGuard or Trailer Lock Box.
Prevent unauthorized hook up to trailer.
For unauthorized hook ups to retailers' trailers or containers, we offer a king pin lock, glad hand lock and a landing gear lock. Our locks are very heavy duty and made of high quality materials. Many can be keyed alike to a master system, one key opens all of the locks. Locks are designed for the rugged trucking environment.
Security Kit for complete over the road tractor and trailer security.
Our security kit holds the locks and seals (sold separately) necessary for complete over the road tractor and trailer security. Kit is completely customizable and can include an ABLOY® padlock for trailer security, a King Pin Lock to secure a dropped trailer and an Air Cuff® Lock to prevent the truck and trailer brakes from being released.
